What's In Your Bag
My softball bag has been sitting in the back of the closet for two weeks now waiting to be unloaded. I finally got around to emptying it today. (It needed to be done because the bag will be replaced soon. Cheap crap!)
So a short list of items:
*I've played this kitten ball known as 16" and native to my home town. I've broken all my fingers. I'm done with that. Maybe when I'm old and fat and want to drink beer at the game, as opposed to after, I'll try it again.
So a short list of items:
- 1 2005 model year Demarini Ultimate Weapon, aka team softball bat
- 1 left handed batting glove. The only hand that gets blisters at the cage.
- 2 Mizuno softball mitts*
- 7 12" softballs
- 1 pair black, size 14 softball cleats. Dirty. Very dirty.
- 1 pair of dirty smelly sweat socks (straigt to the trash. How long have those been there?)
- 1 set of allen wrenchs (on field bicycle repairs)
- 1 ziplock bag, empty - Wonder Twin powers activate! Form of an ice bag.
- 1 ziplock bag, not empty. Full of guaze and other first aid supplies
- 1 blue skull cap. Mid November softball is cold in Chicago
