Getting It Together

Alcee Hastings is not going to get the chairmanship of the intelligence committee. Jane Harman is probably out as well. Since I last wrote about this I've learned she has some ethical issues as well. Despite the Majority Leader flare up its possible that the Dems are getting their shit in order. They have to prove they can govern in the next two years and hopefully show the public what fools the current GOP leaders are. I don't subscribe to the far left of the Democratic party and more than I do the far right of the GOP and (foolishly) hope the next two years can bring us back to a more centrist, practical style of governance.
