Federal Budget - Sorry Vets

The scandal at Walter Reed Hospital and other facilities is shameful. Politicians on both sides of the aisle are bloviating about it. Shrub has said he is and always has been concerned about the medical care our veterans get. But what does he do? He cust the budget for their health and long term care.

And its not Shrub alone! Florida Republican Congressman C.W. Bill Young said, “We did not go public with these concerns, because we did not want to undermine the confidence of the patients and their families and give the Army a black eye while fighting a war.”

The Republican Party, whatever its merits may once have been, is a cesspool of corruption inhabited by the avarice and power hungry. The 2006 midterm elections was a starting point. They need to be further marginalized so that they can either rebuild or fold under the weight of its own slime.
