Simultaneous Deaths

For a couple of weeks now the battery on my cell phone has been draining quicker and quicker. I've been putting off doing anything about it but it's getting to the point where I may have to act.

Last Thursday, my camera committed Seppuku when it jumped out of my volleyball bag, bounced on the cross bar of the bar stool and skidded across the astroturf bar floor.

This morning when I turned on the MP3 player the System Initialization screen came on and stayed on and stayed on and stayed on. And stayed on. Half an hour later I got to work and was able to find a stick pin to hit the reset button. The FM tuner is working but when I go into the song list most of the entries are blank and those that aren't are Korean characters. Hopefully I will be able to reload it tonight.

One way or the other its beginning to look like some big box electronics store might love me this weekend. And all this a month before I take an expensive vacation (Canary Islands) and I'm trying to build up my house down payment for a planned purchase this summer.
