Will It Be Enforced?

Chicago's new bicycle ordinance. Mostly I'd be happy to see enforcement of the marked bike lanes. Give parking tickets to those that park in the bike lanes and throw the fucking book at the VIP drivers that think it's their special lane. The turning in front of me, most of the close passes, and the suddenly opening doors I can pretty much deal with. But being forced into traffic when there is a perfectly good bike lane there for me is just damn dangerous.

And in response to my own question... it will get about the same enforcement level as the cell phone ban.
