Thank You, Ms. Bus Driver
After yesterday's depressing news about torture and the Bush administration I declare this weekend a good news weekend.
First thing this morning, approaching the bus stop I see one bus pull away. Damn. A couple moments later I see a second bus coming up. I started to run to the stop and wave my arm. Too late. She's pulling on through the intersection. But then I see her wave to me and point to the other side of the intersection.
She pulled over to the side of the road on the south side of Armitage (the bus stop is on the north side) to pick me up. A very nice and welcome gesture by the driver of Bus 5810 this morning.
Thanks!
