Today's Stat

97 hours per week

Is the amount of time a person making minimum wage ($7.50 / hour) would have to work every week of the year to afford a two bedroom rental in the Chicago land area.

I have some thoughts floating around in the back of my head about wage stagnation and inflation and the cost of government that I might try to pull together. But this is just another example of the problem with stagnate wages.
