1. The Reds continued their salary dumptheir salary dump by gift wrapping slugger Adam Dunn for the AZ Diamondbacks in exchange for some Coke vending machines. I recall Dusty complaining in spring training that Dunn took too many walks. He had 1 walk in 16 at bats against Houston over the weekend. Perhaps the 8 K's and 2 hits were a bigger concern for management. Over at LGM, they wonder why the Dodgers let Dunn clear waivers. I've been told this is pretty much professional courtesy. You don't want one of your trades blocked at a later date, even years later.
   
2. Steve Rosenbloom wonders if Lilly went hunting on Thursday night. I was watching that game. My opinion. He came inside - way inside - at the body. Yeah, he was gunning for Escobar. I actually couldn't believe Lilly wasn't tossed.
