I'm hesitant to jump on the criticisms of the Main Stream Media (MSM) because so much of it makes out that they are worthless. This just isn't true. They do some very good investigative reporting and coverage on many issues.

Where they have failed is in their decade(s?) long acquiescence to politicians that they present balanced coverage. In theory, I agree with that. The media shouldn't play favorites. In practice it has amounted to the media parroting back what politicians say without critical thought or investigation.

Well, maybe they are beginning to wake up. Maybe.
