Political Math and Children
MHP gives the new math regarding the goppers use of kids in the campaign. It seems reasonable.
Last night I was at a dinner party and we turned on Sarah Palin's speech at the end of the night. The volume was low and we were talking so I wasn't able to hear it very well. As I watched it one thing was painfully obvious, the poor 17 year old father to be looked uncomfortable at best. Now, reflecting back on what I saw I'm awestruck by their exploitation of the the Palin's youngest son who has Downs Syndrome. He was passed from person to person so that everyone could be photographed holding the child.
I guess it's some play on the traditional theory that children should be seen but not heard.
Sickening.
