I Wouldn't Zoon
The Sun Times reviews Microsoft's entry into the MP3 market. All I can say is, Wow! How can even MS fuck up that bad?
- You can only get songs from the MS marketplace (not too surprising)
- If you "share" a song you can only have it for 3 days and then to get it again you MUST purchase it.
- Microsoft's player does not work with Microsoft's WINDOWS software
There doesn't seem to be anything good to be said about this player. I've had my iRiver for just over a year now. It's been great. There are players with better controls and better screens but it works well for me. Even if it is a bit on the big size.
And I take real offense to the comment by Universal CEO Doug Morris. My ex-girlfriend was a drummer in a rock band and after watching her band struggle just to break even I would never consider stealing the intellectual property of an artist. The music on my player is all ripped from CDs I own. When I hear new music I like I buy the CD and copy it to my player.
So, Doug, FUCK YOU!
PS. Wow! That was a surprisingly vulgar post. Still, I stick by what I said.
