Insurance Industry Does a 180

It's amazing what losing an election can do to you. A corporate insurance group is proposing policy changes to give medical insurance to the 46.6M people currently without.

I'll maybe write something more in depth at a later time on health insurance. For now, suffice to say that I think national health insurance is where we need to end up. And it seems like more and more corporations are coming to similar conclusions. Not surprisingly, this proposal doesn't get us there. The insurance industry is protecting itself. But it is a big turn around. It's a start.
