Something Doesn't Jive

The Tribune reports on the Red Line delay don't add up. They say the problem was reported at 8:30AM. That is clearly wrong. I was on the Purple Line at about 7:40 this morning and they were announcing the Red Line diversion. The conductor was on the intercom announcing the rerouting and saying there was a problem at the Harrison stop.
