is the short fall in the CTA's 2009 budget thanks to Gov. Gonad. Between the cost of free rides for seniors that he demanded out of the blue last year and a cut in the funds the state was supposed to give the CTA, the Governor (and state legislature) is crippling the CTA at a time when the demand for service is on the rise.
