RIP: Mitch Mitchell

Mitch Mitchell, the last surviving member of the Jimi Hendrix Experience was found dead in his hotel room yesterday. An ex-GF, a drummer in a rock and roll band, loved Hendrix and talked of Mitchell often. I saw him at the Experience Hendrix show at Chicago Theater on 10/26. I have to say he did not look well then. I was in the nose bleed seats but I really questioned whether or not he really even knew where he was at. He did play though. I'm happy to say I saw at least 1/3 of the Jimi Hendrix Experience play live.
