The Birds are down 0 - 2 to the Dodgers in the NLDS. I've little intelligent to say about it. Our starting pitchers have done reasonably well and excellent in the two games. Our relief has been acceptable. Our closer did his job last night until Matt Holliday couldn't catch a soft liner.

What I really and truly can't understand is the Birds' complete lack of ability to hit left handed pitching. A line up dominated by high quality, right handed hitters should beat up on southpaws. But not the Cardinals. It doesn't make sense.
