Armageddon!

Once a week I go to Downers Grove to play volleyball. This map shows the best route for me to take: Lower Wacker Drive, to Congress Parkway, to The Ike, to I88.



The red line traces the part of the route that will be under construction. For the next TWO YEARS.

NPR's morning news has been stressing it every 15 minutes or so. I understand why. Still, it feels like they're rubbing my nose in it.
