Get The Hell Out Of Dodge

Militants/Insurgents/Islamists/somebody kidnapped up to 150 men in Baghdad today. Of course there still seems to be some differeing repots on how many were actually taken. The gunmen were dressed as police commandos. 6 senior police officers from the area have been arrested in connection to the raid.

There is no functioning government in Iraq. Our troops are sitting in the middle of a civil war. Sure, our troops are quelling some of the violence but we can't stop it and the gov't doesn't show any sign of wanting it stopped. When we leave it will get ugly. Thousands are dying now and many thousands more will die when we leave. But we don't have the ability and/or the will to stop it.

It's time to get the hell out of dodge!
