Today's Stat

There are 1.4M DUI arrests in the U.S. each year. Approximately 13,000 people are killed by drunk drivers each year in the U.S. The number of deaths has held constant since the mid-1990s.

I'm a drinker. It's true. And, in the past, I've been an offender of DUI laws. Never caught but I've had a couple of instances of truely dangerous behavior. I'm not proud of this but it is the truth.

There are many reasons I live in Lincoln Park in Chicago. I love city life, the hustle and bustle, the architecture, the overall youth of the neighborhood. But I also enjoy the bars. And living in the city I don't ever have to drive!!! Since I moved to the city I just don't make those stupid decisions anymore. There are times I'm in the suburbs and I just make sure that I stay sober.
