Chimp Tool Use

Biologists in Senegal are reporting that Chimpanzees are using spears to hunt other primates. There is ever increasing amounts of observations of primates, especially higher apes, using crude tools. In the Senegal case, the chimps are using several stages of construction to create the spears.

The science on this is surely turning, if not turned, but I recall from school that tool use was a defining moment in human evolution. It distinquished us from "lesser" animals. It is another piece of evidence that shows the similarity between the homo sapien primate and other primates. More circumstantial evidence of evolution.
