Stem Cell Alchemy

Researchers have reprogrammed (unprogrammed?) adult mice cells to become stem cells. If these results prove to be reproducable on a large scale this could be one the most important break throughs in a very, very long time. It creates a safe way of producing stem cells that are expected to be medically beneficial in numerous circumstances. It is a safer way of collecting cells than female egg donation and eliminates the religious moral concerns of harvesting cells from blastocytes and embryos.
