Obama On Energy

Everyone promises energy independence. Obama does the same. His proposals seem pretty solid.

1. A cap and trade system where polluters have to buy their credits instead of being handed to them.

2. Investment in production of clean energy from the cap and trade auction profits.

3. A strong move towards energy efficiency in buildings and automobiles.

No carbon tax as such although the cap and trade auction could function similar to one. Here's some more fleshing out of his proposals. They apparently have a lot in common with Edwards energy plan.
