None of the goppers are acceptable to me for numerous reasons but Giuliani is one of the scariest candidates I can think of. Where Bush has shredded much of our laws for his war on terror, Giuliani would gleefully burn down the country to save it. Giuliani hasn't seen a civil or legal right that he doesn't think needs to be squashed under his boot to "protect" America.

Our country was founded on guiding principles laid out in the Declaration of Independence, in the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights (civics professors: I know the Bill of Rights are amendments to the Constitution and are therefore part of the Constitution). We are NOT founded on nationality, or religion, or some other defining trait. When we forget, or in this case, consciously betray our founding principles then we are already lost.
