Sir Edmond Hillary

I assumed he had died years ago. He died yesterday. Besides his famed climb to the top the of the world he also drove a tractor to the South Pole and lead a search for the source of the Ghanges in India.

He was also a philanthropist helping Nepal. He spent time and personal funds to help build schools and infrasturcutre in the country.
