Coporatese

In January my company discovered that we've misapplied interest to customer accounts since a coding change in 2002. Since February I've been working on the programs to identify the months we made errors and apply the correction to the accounts (always in the customer's favor). This is a big, big deal here. People with letters in front of their names and wood desks are asking when it will be done.

When ever I get an email or meeting request about this project it is prefaced "BIC" or Budget Interest Correction.

The email folder and network drive folders I've created to store all the documents are titled "Budget Interest Miscalc."
