UPDATE: Later in the show NPR stated that Peraica had raised only $70 some thousand. I doubt I will take the time to research the campaign filings to see which number is correct. Suffice to say that he is being severely beaten in the money race and is a Republican running for a Cook County wide seat. His chances are pretty darn close to nil.
