Calling The CTA
It's my own fault really. I was careless with an online purchase and had my credit card number stolen. So I need to update my CC number with various companies that automatically debit it. Additionally, I didn't do anything to remember or write down my user id or password with the CTA. When I signed up with them I had RCN as my internet provider and used the email address they provided me when I signed up with the CTA. So when I went to log on to the CTA website I couldn't. When I asked them to email me the information it was sent to an inactive email address. So I've been sitting here on hold for 20+ minutes.
What's getting on my nerves is that every minute or so the "prerecorded message" cuts out for a 2nd prerecorded message telling me someone will be with me shortly. This message didn't have music and sounded like a real human cutting in.
Real person Latrina finally answered my call at about the 22 minute mark. She quickly updated my snail mail address, email address, my cc information and gave me a new user name and password.
Thanks Latrina.
