Black Out

A buddy of mine got two tickets to the White Sox - Rays game last night. We sat in the left field bleachers, row 11. Down 0-2, the White Sox had to win to stay alive in the playoffs. We waited out the rain delay at a local watering hole and headed to the stadium when the clouds started to break up.

The crowd was incredible. 99% of the people were wearing black. The team handed out white hand towels to everyone. The blacked out crowd was loud and enthusiastic. I've been to numerous St. Louis games where everyone is in Red. It's just what they do. But this was different.

It was electric. It was awesome. Sox Win!
