CSA Week 6
Some pretty color this week:
garlic scapes
cabbage
kale
carrots
spinach
snap peas
chard
scallions
salad mix
basil
sage
This past week I realized my one fear about the CSA. I didn't even come close to eating everything. Last night I made the broccoli and bok choy from Week 5. I have a little bok choy left over.
Just tonight, 10 days after I got it, 3 days after the next batch, I finished the veggies from Week 5. I made a pasta sauce using the some oregano, basil, garlic scapes, and spinach. In addition I used chicken and roma tomatoes from the store. Sorry no picture although there are some leftovers.
