TIDOS Day

The first shots of U.S. Civil War were fired at Fort Sumter 150 years ago today.  The nation was torn apart because the priviledged class in one region of our country created and held on to their wealth on the back of stolen labor.  On the back of slavery.  They committed treason in defense of slavery.

I visited Charleston, S.C., in December 2009 / January 2010.  I took the boat ride out to Fort Sumter while there. Here's a couple pics from the trip.
