NPR Poll

OK, here comes the politics. Something that will probably dominate this blog.

NPR had 1 Democratic and 1 Republican pollster conduct a poll in the 48 Congressional districts considered to be the most competitive. They found that the "generic" Democrat beat the "generic" Republican candidate by 11 points. That's up from a 7 point advantage in July.

I've been leery of the idea that the Democrats will take back control of either house of congress. Now, three weeks out, I'm beginning to accept it. Of course, one cannot discount the Republicans' money advantage or ability to get out the vote.

I hope that the money won't sway too many districts. The country needs a check on the Bush Regime.
