Odd happenings
Pregame - Pujols was a late scratch. The TV broadcast actually listed him as starting minutes before game time. With his scratch Molina was the only starter from day 1.

1ST Inning - Brendan Ryan was pulled. Barden went to SS and Miles took over at 2nd. Ryan was pulled for swinging at a 3-0 pitch.

2nd Inning - Wellemeyer was pulled. He had a terrible first but a good second. The Cards were up 2-1 when he was pulled.

3rd Inning - A Cardinals baserunner (Barden I think) was hit by a batted ball.

4th Inning - Cards Pitcher Tyler Johnson was pulled with the Cards up 3-1.

5th Inning - Molina was pulled for Stinnett. The Cards now have no Game 1 starters on the field.

7th Inning - Today's starting pitcher, Wainwright, pinch hit (and got a hit). He was pulled and pitcher Anthony Reyes pinch run.

I stopped watching when the game went to the 10th inning. It ended in the 14th with another Cardinals loss.
