They Aren't Voting
I'm not in the nativist, "old Europe" camp that thinks an American politician in Germany shouldn't use German. I think that our counttry's reputation in the world matters. I think that we should cultivate good relationships with foreign governments when and where possible.
On the other hand, I'm tired of seeing and hearing about polls that shows Europeans that favor Obama over McCain. They are not U.S. citizens. They don't get to vote. (In fact, at this point, I don't give a damn about domestic polls either. It's too early to really matter.)
