An Introduction

I give you...
OZZIE!
He's going for the ring
Around Halloween, Ozzie showed up at the back door of a friend of a friend in St. Charles. She couldn't keep him because her adult daughter is excessively allergic to cats. She was keeping him in the garage until she could find a home for him. Saturday night Ozzie moved from the exurbs to become a city cat.
Taking an inspiration from John Cole and his cat Tunch, Ozzie was named for one of my favorite childhood sports stars.
Ozzie seems pretty healthy but has yet to have his day with the vet. He's eating and drinking regularly. He's skittish but once he gets comfortable with someone in the room he comes out and plays. He purrs loud enough to wake a person in the same room. For now, he's restricted to the spare bedroom. There's too many places for him to hide at the moment and I want him to get more comfortable with the sounds and smells of the building. I figure he'll be free to run the house in the next week or so.

Aww, Ozzie's cute! Congrats on your new "roommate." *smiles*
And for the love of God, let him roam free in your apartment...he's got to be ready by now! *grin*
I left the door open last night for him to roam while I was home. The outside world is still big and scary. He roamed through the living room and kitchen a bit before retreating to his bedroom.
