The Cardinals took a 3 game to 2 lead over the Mets last night. It was a "must win." They now have to win 1 of 2 games in NY. I've not been confident of their chances of beating NY until last night. We have Carpenter and Suppan pitching the next two games. The Mets have lost 3 of their best 4 pitchers and the one remaining pitched last night. If we can win, its on to Detroit on Saturday and a rematch of 1968.
