Civic Duty + 2

So, as noted, I voted at about 7:00AM this morning. Just a couple of minutes ago I was passing by a coworkers desk and we drifted into the voting conversation. She asked me to tell her about the candidates. To sell her on them. I didn't want to preach too much but I basically told her that if she does nothing else she should go and vote for Tony Peraica for Cook County Board President. I said that we should not support the anoitment of the boy king. She said she was convinced and that she was going to drag her husband along as well. Even if they don't vote as I recommended they will have at least voiced an opinion.
