It Will Never End
Clinton won the Pennsylvania primary by about 10 points. Some random thoughts and observations.
UPDATE: When will I learn to check the media's math? Let's call it 9 points.
UPDATE 2: Just after clicking to update the BBC said, "...after beating Mr. Obama by a margin of more than 8%..." Once again, foreigners are beating us at math.

- On NPR this morning a Clinton supporter in Indiana - I didn't catch her identification - said, and I paraphrase, "We want change, but we want safe change." Is that what her campaign is to many people? Safe. The devil they know.
- The manager at the bar, a guy probably around 30, said last night that if the contest is between Clinton and McCain he doesn't know who he will vote for. If it is Obama and McCain, he is definitely voting for McCain. I don't get it.
- Uncomfortable Question: Everything else being the same, if Clinton and Obama were white men battling it out for the nomination would this thing be over already? How many voters are voting against one or the other because they can't contanance a woman or a black man as president?
- Yesterday, NPR reported that 160,000 PA voters switched their registration from Republican to Democratic in the month leading up to the primary. How many of those are "Rush Voters." Crossing over to vote for Clinton because they think she will be easier to beat in the general election. Clinton won by 216,000 so it wouldn't have changed the result but it could be skewing the 10% win enough to keep Hillary in the race.
- The 'Paign Goes On.
