Bull Riding

In addition to the Cardinals/Cubs game, the basketball playoffs, and the hockey playoffs, the watering hole had a few TVs tuned to the VS channel which was broadcasting a bull riding event. It was the 2nd Sunday in a row they were showing bull riding and apparently it is some kind of regular show on the VS channel.

Last night, the winner walked away with a $24,500 check. One of the losers left on a stretcher after a 2,000 lb bull came down on his throat.

I think these bull riders really need to reevaluate the risks vs. rewards of this event.
