Fringe Benefits
Most every guy knows the benefits of giving your girl flowers. Especially if for no other reason than it's Sunday.
While at Dominicks today I grabbed some carnations that were on sale. I didn't go there for that reason it was just a spur of the moment thing. I had the keys to the new girl's place and figured I would leave them there for her to find when she got back into town. On the walk home from the store I passed by a couple around my age (mid 30s). The lady was pushing a stroller and when I was about 10 feet from them the man stooped down to tie his shoe. "Great time to stop," she said, "just as the flowers get close..."
I don't know what that was about but I don't think I made that guy's day.
While waiting for the elevator to go up to my girl's place another lady, younger looking, was also waiting for the elevator.
"Aw. How nice. Most guys don't think to do that."
"yeah."
"It's a nice thing to do. And it's so cheap."
"Couple bucks."
"And for no reason. You're not in trouble right? Just being nice."
"Just nice"
"More guys should do that."
Then I got off the elevator. I assume I didn't make her guy's day either (I'm assuming she had one since she was smokin' hot).

It WAS very nice of you to buy your girl flowers.
I just hope she's not the jealous type who would get mad that you called the other girl "smokin' hot." *grin*
Then again, if she is, fuggetabout her--jealousy sucks!!
She asked me if I thought a guy she wanted to set up with one of her friends was attractive so I think I'm allowed to make judgements.
