It's Definitely A Monday
A beautiful morning so I rode the bicycle into the office. I pulled up to the McDonalds Bike Garage and it was locked down tight. As a member, I'm able to get into the annex to park but couldn't get to the locker room. It was just after 7:00AM and the garage is supposed to be open at 6:30AM. I stunk. Do I really want to go into the office like this. Maybe I could come back and shower later. Then some guy walks out of the secured area. I ducked in.
There was a dozen guys in the locker room. When I asked, they all got in the same way I did, waiting for someone to come out. No one knows who got in first. I'm fortunate that I bring my own towel. The guys that count on getting a towel from the bike garage employees were SOL as the towels were locked up.
When I pulled on my socks I saw that the heel of one is essentially gone.
At the bagel shop I go to, which also opens at 6:30, was all kinds of messed up. The bagels were ready but people the coffee dispensers weren't loaded yet. The ice machine hadn't been filled. And of course, the price of my large ice tea has gone up a dime.

Poor pup!
Well, I had a "case of the Mondays," too. (Hope you saw "Office Space"--to get that reference! *grin*)
Me a pup? It's all relative but I haven't been the young guy in my group of friends for quite a while.
And I love Office Space! A buddy of mine bought the directors cut of the DVD that came with a coupon for a free red swingline stampler that he now keeps locked up tight in his desk drawer.
"Poor pup" is an expression that I borrowed from my Texan friend (the blogger named "Buck"). I like it--I think it's a sweet expression that works for nearly everyone. :)
Did you see that they have an Office Space "desk pack" or something like that at Barnes & Noble? It comes with the stapler and other stuff--including a "Jump to Conclusions" mat! LOL!
