Random Thursday Thoughts

There's a throw pillow in a souvenir shop window here on Michigan Ave that says, "Raising children is like getting pecked to death by a duck." What the %*#&^% does that mean?

Why did the bus driver pull up to the green light, stop, open the doors, and sit through the light? No one had signaled for a stop. No one was waiting at the stop to get on the bus.

Not that I claim to be any kind of expert but as I guessed the cougar shot in Chicago a few weeks ago was the same one spotted in Wisconsin prior to that. I think the continued claims of possible cougar sightings in Chicago are pretty dubious.

Thursday night means volleyball in Downers Grove. I can only recall one Thursday since January when it didn't rain and/or snow on my drive out. Rain is predicted for tonight. The one clear Thursday I hung out with The Girl (then known as The New Girl) before the game. Hmmmm.
