A380

An Airbus A380, loaded with 500 people, is on its way from Frankfurt Germany to the US. It is scheduled to fly on to Chicago tomorrow. This after years of problems and delays.

A few years back Airbus announced it would make the A380, a double decker jumbo jet. Boeing decided to make what has become known as the 787. At the time I said that Airbus was making a serious mistake. The industry, in my mind, was not looking for jumbo jets. I think I was right. So why didn't I buy?
