Rudy Giuliani - Freedom and Authority
Some excerpts from a speech Giuliani gave in 1994. I wish there was more context or more of the speech.
He says one thing that bothers me:
"Freedom is about authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do."
and one that I agree with:
"... the criminal act is about individual responsibility and the building of the respect for the law and ethics is also a matter of individual responsibility."
